The article goes over how the U.S. has been running a very precise air campaign against ISIS. The campaign has officially been observed of over a hundred attacks with casualties being only in the tens. However critics say that the actually casualties are probably higher.
I see the article as being fair by pointing out both sides of the argument about whether we're doing enough or not. I feel that we should keep trying to limit civilian casualties as much as possible and continue with the campaign.
The article is heavily related to their everyday politics in Syria. The fact that there are bombers flying overhead and blowing up nearby landscapes would probably be a little concerning to the people there. The fact that their entire nation is at war and defending themselves from the dropping bombs all of that is probably important to the people in Syria.
